Things I Love About You

I always thought that a white picket fence and a "Happily Ever After" was my destiny. After all, its what I knew about life as a child, having been sheltered and adored by my parents. The suburban dream I assumed, would simply transfer itself into my life and continue taking great care of me. I adored my Mom, and hoped that I would grow up and become the perfect wife and mother just like her -  my husband would be a copy of my Father, with his hard work, dedication and undeniable love for his family. I felt cherished and loved. What a blessing to have had such a wonderous childhood - I can never thank them enough for the gift of a home so filled with love and laughter.
